Terms & Conditions
Welcome to ChatyShop, a conversational commerce and service discovery platform (the “Platform”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ChatyShop and its related features, including chat-based shopping, offers, wallet, bookings, and payments. By accessing or using ChatyShop, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.
1. About ChatyShop
- AI-powered, chat-first multi-platform shopping and service assistant.
- Enables users to discover and compare products/services across connected platforms, book/order via verified partner APIs, and earn internal balance credits and offers.
- Connects with authorized partner APIs to ensure accurate data and smooth order processing. ChatyShop does not sell products directly — all transactions are fulfilled by partner platforms.
2. Acceptance of Terms
- You confirm you are at least 18 years old.
- You accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
- ChatyShop may update these Terms at any time; updates are effective upon posting (see “Updates to Terms”).
3. User Accounts
3.1 Registration
- Register with a valid email, mobile number, or social login.
- You’re responsible for all activity under your account and for safeguarding credentials.
3.2 Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that:
- Provide false or misleading details.
- Engage in fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized activities.
- Manipulate offers, balance rewards, or API systems.
4. Platform Use
- Multi-platform search & comparison across connected providers.
- Smart chat assistant with AI-powered suggestions and personalization.
- Offers & deals (may be limited-time or provider-/region-specific).
- Wallet & balance system: internal credits from verified activities (e.g., orders, refunds, promotions).
ChatyShop is independent. Product data, pricing, and availability are fetched via authorized partner APIs and may change without notice.
5. Wallet & Balance Credits
5.1 Overview
- Wallet stores internal balance credits and promotional rewards.
- Credits are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and non-interest-bearing.
- May be used for eligible features or redeemed per ChatyShop-approved methods.
5.2 Eligibility
- Credits appear after partner confirmation of qualifying activity.
- Balances may be adjusted for cancellations, refunds, or invalid orders.
- Expired/invalid transactions do not qualify.
5.3 Redemption
- Minimum redemption limits apply (see Wallet for current thresholds).
- Identity/KYC verification may be required before withdrawal/redemption.
6. Orders, Bookings & Payments
- Integrations with external providers (e-commerce, travel, food, entertainment, etc.).
- Checkout and fulfillment methods vary by provider, region, device, and your settings. Depending on the integration, flows may occur inside the app (native or in-chat UI), within an embedded web view, or via a secure redirect/deep link to the provider’s site or app.
- Final order confirmation, delivery, refunds, and cancellations are handled by the partner platform.
- Payments are processed by partners or verified intermediaries.
- ChatyShop does not store or process full payment card details.
Note: “WebView” experiences are sandboxed browser views inside the app. “Redirects” may open a new tab or the partner’s native app via deep link.
7. Offers, Campaigns & Promotions
- Availability depends on each provider and may be limited-time.
- ChatyShop may modify or remove campaigns at its discretion.
- Exploiting promotions may result in account suspension.
8. AI & Personalization
We use AI responsibly to enhance the experience, including:
- OpenAI for chat interactions and natural language understanding.
- Algolia for search intelligence.
- TensorFlow/PyTorch for recommendations and behavior modeling.
These services may process anonymized and aggregated data to improve accuracy. By using ChatyShop, you consent to privacy-safe AI personalization.
9. Partner Integrations
- Connections via secure APIs (some affiliate/commercial data APIs). Integration mode can be in-chat UI, in-app WebView, or redirect/deep link, selected automatically by ChatyShop based on provider capabilities, compliance, and your region.
- Data is retrieved under partner terms; usage complies with provider policies.
- Partner data, pricing, and terms may differ due to sync intervals or provider updates.
- ChatyShop is not liable for errors, delays, or unavailability caused by partners.
10. User Responsibilities
- Do not misuse services, APIs, or offers.
- No backend access attempts, link tampering, or tracking manipulation.
- No malicious/prohibited content uploads.
- No bots or scripts to generate artificial traffic or orders.
Violations may result in suspension and legal action.
11. Intellectual Property
All ChatyShop assets — brand, design, content, software, and AI systems — are owned by ChatyShop or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, reverse-engineer, or use our branding without permission. Feedback/suggestions may be used to improve the Platform without compensation.
12. Liability Disclaimer
ChatyShop operates as an independent integration platform and does not control partner operations, including product accuracy/availability/quality, delivery timelines, or customer service. Refunds/cancellations are handled by partners. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ChatyShop is not liable for losses arising from partner services. Our maximum liability is limited to the verified balance credits present in your ChatyShop Wallet.
13. Privacy & Data Protection
- Data handling per our Privacy Policy and applicable laws (GDPR / India DPDP).
- Sensitive information (passwords, tokens, API keys) is securely encrypted.
- ChatyShop does not sell or rent user data.
- Limited anonymized data may be shared with trusted partners to improve services.
14. Administrative Rights
- Adjust or revoke fraudulent/invalid balances.
- Modify or remove expired offers and campaigns.
- Suspend or restrict accounts violating these Terms.
- Audit logs and transactions for compliance (all admin actions are recorded).
15. Dispute Resolution
- Report discrepancies within 30 days to support@chatyshop.com.
- If unresolved, disputes are governed by the laws of India, under the jurisdiction of Chennai courts.
16. Termination
- We may terminate/suspend accounts for violations or suspected misuse.
- Unverified wallet balances may be forfeited in cases of fraud/misuse.
- Access to offers, wallet, and connected services ceases immediately upon termination.
17. Updates to Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect new features, integrations, or legal requirements. You will be notified of major changes within the app or via email. Continued use indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
